Las Vegas is within striking distance of Death Valley, Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon — five of America's most iconic national parks all sit within a day's drive of your RV.

4.5 hr drive
The South Rim's classic viewpoints — Mather Point, Yavapai, and Desert View — all sit along the rim road with RV-friendly pullouts. Mather Campground and Trailer Village inside the park take RVs and are worth booking months ahead. The 4.5-hour drive runs east on US-93 then I-40, with fuel and food stops in Kingman and Williams along the way.

2.5 hr drive
Towering sandstone walls, the Virgin River, and short rim-side trails like the Pa'rus and Riverside Walk make Zion one of the most rewarding parks for a short RV trip. Watchman Campground inside the park accepts RVs but books out months ahead — Springdale just outside the gate has private parks with hookups. The 2.5-hour drive north on I-15 to UT-9 climbs through red-rock country approaching the south entrance.

2 hr drive
The lowest, driest, hottest place in North America delivers Badwater Basin's salt flats, Zabriskie Point's painted hills, and Mesquite Sand Dunes within an easy loop. Furnace Creek Campground accepts RVs with hookups; cooler months (November–March) are ideal and mid-summer is genuinely dangerous. The 2-hour drive west on US-95 to CA-190 crosses remote desert with limited services, so fuel up before you leave Vegas.

45 min drive
The closest big-ticket detour to the Strip — drive the dam access road, walk the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, and take the powerplant tour. Lake Mead's Boulder Beach Campground sits about 30 minutes further on, with lake access and basic RV sites. The 45-minute drive on US-93 makes this a comfortable day trip or easy overnight escape.
